Oh Cherry Oh

Killing time on Pinterest I found a picture, pinned by a friend, for a quilting design called '3s & Es'. It looked fun and easy so I decided to give it a try on the HandiQuilter. I'd link to the quilting pattern here, but the Pinterest link was a dead-end and my quick Google search only yielded more Pinterest images. But the basic idea is to start with a 3, add in a little curl at the end, build a rounded E off of that, add in a little curl at the end, make another 3... and keep going until you fill your quilt.

So I added this way-over-due-quilt-top to the longarm frame and got to practicing.

Not perfect, but passable... and I'm excited to try the pattern again!

Since we have a quilt or two in this house (wink, wink) I think I'll save this for an end-of-the-year gift for Megan's Kindergarten teacher.
