Swell Quilt

I've probably said this here before, but I'll say it again... I'm amazed at what I can accomplish when I set my mind to something!

I knew February was going to be busy, so I kept my A Lovely Year of Finishes goal conservative.  All I wanted was to finish piecing a quilt top.  But after a surprise day home (while my 15-year old truck spent the day in the shop) I had a completed quilt top early in the month.  So I moved on to quilting.  A few hours of peace and quite while the kiddo was on a play-date and I had the quilt loaded and all stitched up on the longarm.  And the binding... that got stitched while on my own sewing play-date.

I'm so excited to have this one completed that I'm already plotting to finish up another quilt this month (and this one is a LONG outstanding UFO).

That is a great scrap quilt. It's so great that you had opportunities to sew and to accomplish your goal and then some. Congrats!

Such a lovely quilt. Isn't it wonderful to accomplish more than you planned. I had that kind of month too.
