Double Delight Quilt

A new quilt for Megan... and done just in time for our annual Houston cold-snap (freezing temps and ice for a night, and then back to our usual 70 degree winter on Saturday)

Double Delight

Megan picked the fabrics... pink, hearts, and flowers... pretty perfect for a sweet 6 year old girl. Originally we were going to make a different pattern, but these fat quarters were cut just a hair shy of 18" x 21" and I couldn't make it work. So we picked the Villa Rosa pattern Double Delight instead.

Double Delight

The pattern comes together so quick! And since it only needs 14 fat quarters, and I had 20 to work with, there weren't any problems with my little-bit-too-small-fat-quarters.

Double Delight

I think I have half of the Villa Rose patterns. They are easy but they turn out looking great. I have had several compliments on mine. Her quilt is so girly. So cute.
