Double Disappearing Nine Patch

For my last quilt as part of the Grace circle of do. Good Stitches, I had the group make Double Disappearing Nine Patches. I didn't have a quilt or pattern to reference, in fact my own blocks were the test-run to work out the fabric requirements, so I really had no idea what this would look like once it was all put together.

But I figured almost anything would look good with a white background and bright solid colors, so I went for it. And I didn't always think it was going to turn out like I imagined... but I pressed on and finished it up.

And you know what... I love it! (so much so that I want to make one for me!)

And how fun is that backing?!? I love those little vegetables!

It turned out really cute. I am sure you are glad you found the blocks and got everything stitched together.

I love this quilt--how large did you make your primary and secondary 9-patch squares?

My son saw your quilt and would like me to make him one. Do you have a pattern or size of beginning nine patch? Love your work. Thanks.
