Vintage Modern Double Slice

Do you ever see a quilt pattern and get this overwhelming feeling that you need to push aside all other projects and make this one RIGHT NOW? Yeah, that's what happened with this one.

Vintage Modern

The pattern is from a YouTube video by Missouri Star Quilt Company. Fast and easy... one Layer Cake and an afternoon. This would be the perfect quilt when you need a last minute gift (you know, as long as you don't wait a year to quilt it!)

Vintage Modern

I tried something new and quilted flowers on this. They're not perfect, but it was fun to try something new. And once it gets washed up, I'm sure I'll hardly notice the imperfections.

I have an unused layer cake. Maybe this would make a good afternoon project in the future.
