A Lovely Year of Finishes - August Goal

It's that time again... time to pick a quilty goal for August. This month I'm committing to finishing up one more of the quilts I pieced at retreats earlier this year.

Star points made. If we had another day at the #hmqgretreat I'd have another finished top.

I would like to say this little challenge has reduced the number of unfinished projects hanging out in my sewing room, but that isn't so... seems I piece two quilt tops for every one I finish!

Good luck! If it makes you feel better, I have at least one finish a month and my ufo pile has only grown too :)

I have tried to alternate between finishing old UFOs and starting new things ... but the new projects are so much more shiny and alluring. I have managed to make progress on a few of the golden oldies, though, so for me, aLYoF has been a good experience.

Good luck with your finishes!
