A Lovely Year of Finishes - July Goal

About once a month I look over my sewing room... at the fabric, at the projects I'm working on (and the ones I've lost interest in finishing)... and I become a little overwhelmed. There are so many quilts I want to make, but there's just not enough hours in the day. And that's where things like A Lovely Year of Finishes helps... It makes me focus and pick something, anything, to finish up.

So I spent a little time last night making a very visual to-do list.

To Do cards back up in a small attempt to get organized.

By no means is this list everything that needs to be completed, but it gives me a good selection of projects to work from. And for this month I'm going to finish the Authentic quilt I've been piecing together (off and on) for the last month.

Feeling a little restless today... maybe a new project.

Eep. I hide my list on the coffee table mess. Maybe I'll get brave enough to put it front and center at some point!

I love your visual project board! I did the same thing for a while with post it notes but they would always eventually fall off. Washi is such a addition. I'm plotting what my June finishes will be right now too. It's easy to get overwhelmed but I'm sure you'll do great. Can't wait to see what finished top!

Love the Authentic with the Kona gray fabric. Should be a beautiful quilt.

This is a great idea. I have been so overwhelmed/unmotivated with my sewing, I need to give something like this a try. Going to put it up on my blog, too, for some accountability. :) Thank you!

Popping over from a Lovely Year of Finishes. I love your system for helping you see what needs to be done. I can't wait to see your finish at the end of the month!
