This quilt was so much fun to put together! At least 75% of the pieces came from my scrap baskets... I could have made the whole thing from scraps, but I didn't want to repeat any of the strips, so I cut into some fat quarters for a couple of the blocks.

I was having trouble deciding on a backing fabric, so the people who live in my phone (AKA Instagram) helped me pick this one, and it is perfect!

Wow! You really can tell how strong our Winter sun has been here in Texas... the above 2 pictures are of the same section of the quilt... the top one taken inside, and the bottom one outside.

I heard you are coming to Quiltcon on Saturday. Hopefully I will see you. I met some of your members at the meet and great tonight and one of your members, Mona was in my class today.
This is soooo fantastic! I may have to start another project - sigh.
The link up is open!
Love it Tammy!
Love it Tammy!
Love it! I really need to make one!
congrats on your finish.
That's so pretty and such a good way to use up strips.
I love your quilt! I only have 20 blocks of mine done and I'm making it oversized king, so I need 80 more blocks!
