12 in '12 Challenge

If you've been following along for a while, you might have noticed my posts throughout last year about the 12 in '12 Challenge my HMQG friends Liz, Amy & Safieh hosted. The idea was simple... finish 12 quilts in 2012... one per month.

I love a good challenge, and I have a wealth of projects that need finishing, so this challenge was perfect for me! Well, it turns out I won the grand prize!


Look at all that was stuffed in my goodie bag... fabric, a rainbow of Sharpies, some ribbon, pink & purple office supplies, zippers, bakers twine, and a hippo!!

Liz has become a hippo-making machine (she has them listed in her shop, but they go quickly!) They're so cute and now I want to create an army of hippos!


And now my badskirt hippo now has a little friend.
