I thought about doing posts for Sewing Summit and Quilt Market wrap-ups, but I still don't have my head together (or my bags unpacked), and I really didn't take more than a handful of pictures at either event. So I'll leave the wrap-ups to others with better pictures (check out the Flickr stream of my HMQG-buddy Fi - she got some awesome pictures at both events!)
So instead I thought I'd do a little October in Review:
* I finished up some fun projects this month... some zipper bags, a baby quilt, bunting, travel sewing kits, metal pouch, a couple of EPP projects, a mini quilt, and a quick, fun quilt for a Quilt Market booth

* I got to spend some fun days with a fantastic group of ladies... sewing, shopping, traveling, in classes... these ladies kept me laughing all month long!
* But the month wasn't all about me... we also spent some family time together. A trip to the zoo, our first shopping trip to the new Trader Joe's (where Megan found the Woody doll right away), a visit to the duck pond, and a couple of trips to Build-A-Bear.

So what will November bring? Hopefully I'll finish up the projects from my Sewing Summit classes, quilt a couple of long-overdue tops (Washi!!), and piece together a new top with some fabrics I picked up at Quilt Market.

Wow, your October was busy! I'm still bummed that I didn't make it to the MQG meeting. Next month! I'm sure my mom, sister, and I will be at the Festival mixer this weekend though.
You lucky duck. You have been to all the cool places.
