Magic Numbers Quilt Top

The scrappy quilt blocks I started at the June HMQG sew-in are now a quilt top.

Magic Numbers top is done.

Even on a day with a mix of bright sun and dark rain clouds the bright colors of these scraps shine.

For the backing I picked one of the prints from Genevieve Gail's Flower Bucket line.

Backing pieced.

Now to decide... do I quilt it with straight lines on my home machine, or free motion on my mom's longarm machine when I go visit later this month...

Another awesome scrappy quilt I love that you are like me & like to carefully plan the random look. Right-brained people unite!!

That was really fast! Personally, I would take the opportunity to try mom's longarm!

Beautiful quilt! New subscriber! I found you through Jeni, In Color Order. She posted a picture about her new quilt row markers and referenced your blog. Quilts and Project Life, my kind of blog! :)
