Not because of the quilting... just straight lines done my my Janome 6600.
But because of this little girl...
As with so many of my quilts, I made this one just to make it. There wasn't a person or special occasion in mind. I liked the fabric, and after making a small tumbler quilt previously I wanted to try my hand at a bigger version. But as soon as Megan saw the finished quilt she asked if it was for her. And the only answer to that is OF COURSE! And so she has slept under it almost every night since it was finished. Warms a Mom's heart!

my daughter claimed all of my bright quilts too. I let her help pick out colors for several, her choices were not my first choice but they really seamed to turn the lights on in a quilt.

wonderful quilt for an adorable little girl. i recently got a thank you jar full of notes from my daughter and her family--one specifically thanked me for the comfy quilt i'd made him. (all my family now have comfy quilts and some are on the present list for regular quilts) so great to be able to do this for those we love--and as an excuse to make quilts, eh?!!! thanks for sharing and have a great day
