A Pretty Good Day

Yesterday was one of those rare days where I was home all day, with no one around and nothing that had to be done. So I spent most of the day sewing and catching up on some TV shows via Hulu and the iPad.

cut, pieced, attached, and serged bindings for three quilts.

took this fabulous Tula Pink Hushabye jelly roll...

...and cut and pieced for a new quilt (no real reason... just got inspired after picking up the rain drops on clearance at a LQS).

and finally I pressed my fabrics for the Made in Cherry quilt along.

A pretty good day!

Sounds like fun. I have today off for Confederate War Heros day and plan on starting some new projects also. I can't wait to get started.

Where do you go fabric shopping in Sugar Land. I used to live there for a very long time and I go back often? I'm always looking for quilt stores to visit!
