The morning started with a gift to Megan from our elf. She did really well with her star chart this week, so Santa and the elf thought she deserved a $5 gift card to buy some cookies at Starbucks.
After collecting her gift we headed out to Chick-fil-A for breakfast... Biscuit, chocolate milk, and hashbrowns... yummy!
And since it was the first Saturday of the month, we headed off to the zoo for Member Saturday (opens early at 8am for members)
Megan rode the carousel 4 times... she rode the snake, the okapi, the lion, and the dolphin. Melvin, the carousel operator, is so much fun! I love riding the carousel when he's there!
A little lunch at Central Market (California Connection sandwich... YUMMY!!)
...And a snack at Starbucks (they were out of cookies, but she was more than happy with chocolate chip banana bread)
...left us with a very tired little girl

Aww, such a fun day! Megan is such a cutie. I love getting to the zoo when it's virtually empty. It's so much more enjoyable that way.
