HMQG Project Park

Today was Show-n-Tell day for the Houston Modern Quilt Guild 'Project Park' challenge. Each participant used 1 charm pack of Kate Spain's Central Park and up to 1/2 yard fabric (plus backing and binding) in their creation.

I made a table runner and had some fun taking pictures of it this morning.

We had a wide variety of projects... quilts, table runners, sewing machine cover, little girl's skirt, pet bed, tote bag... what a talented group we have!

Now this makes me want to get some Central Park. Lovely challenge. Was it hard to agree on that particular line? My modern quilt guild has such diverse tastes, I don't know if we could pick one line for a challenge.

You did make me get going with my charm pack of Central Park. I have a nice baby quilt pattern using nine patches. Got it partly assembled.
