Week 36 Stash Report

While in Tulsa I was able to sneak out during nap time and visit a couple of quilt shops.

The first shop was small, cramped and hot. But I did find this cute Alexander Henry halloween fabric. I'll probably make Megan something for Halloween... maybe one of CarlaC's A-Line tops. (the 2 Fat Quarters came from JoAnns, and coordinate with some Halloween fabric I bought at Quilt Festival last year.)

The second shop was incredible! I found so much there that I wanted. So much that I couldn't make up my mind what to buy and I left empty handed. But after a little thought I went back a couple of days later and bought some Authentic and a Quiltsmart pattern.

Any ideas on what I should make with this?

Sunday Stash
I already know what fabric I'm going to use for this!

And the day before we left I ran out of thread to baste hexagons, so we made a stop at JoAnns... just for thread... well, that was until Megan found the Princess fabrics. She wants a blanket and a pillow...

can't go wrong with authentic! that's one of my favorite lines in a while :)

I am really curious to know why that pattern says "no curved piecing" when it looks like there are a lot of curves!

Which shops in Tulsa did you go to? I've only been to Back Home Quilts in Sapulpa. On second thought, my husband probably doesn't want me to ask which was the good one... :)

Too cute fabric. I must say that's a great reason to add to any stash. Must finish new stash area so hubby won't notice when I bring in mine. heeeheee ;)

I am really wanting to make a strip rag quilt (quilt the strips onto a solid piece of fabric in a woven patter). Maybe you can use the jelly roll for one of those.
