Fresh Cottons Baby Quilt

I went to a baby shower today that had a very special guest... the sweet baby girl arrived a little early and was able to attend the shower thrown for her mommma.

I made a little quilt for the baby girl. I'm in love with this quilt... it went together so quickly, is the perfect size for a tummy-time mat, and those Fresh Cottons fabrics (by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda)... I love it all!

That is so adorable. I can't wait to find out what flavor we are having tomorrow so I can get started choosing fabrics for the new baby!

I am hosting an Etsy shop link party on tuesdays, and would love to have you link up!

Wow, Tammy, this is such a simple quilt but with the straight line quilting, it looks so sophisticated and cool - I really love this and I love baby quilts that are a bit more elegant than just uber-brights. Nice. Very nice!

This quilt is so cute! I bought a honeybun just to make it. Any advice or tips you have on making it? I've heard strips can be tricky to get to be straight and not wavy.
