I should be tired of these by now...

... but I'm not!!

I just love the way these swing/wrap tops look on Megan. This morning I tallied my sewing for her so far:
8 Swing/Wrap Tops
7 CarlaC A-Line Tops
1 CarlaC Peasant Top

So here are the latest:

St. Patrick's Day - Sunday I realized I didn't have a black top for her to wear under this one. So when Chris ran out to WalMart I asked him to pick up a tshirt. Well, the only one he could find had a cat and rainbow on the front. And wouldn't you know, the image peeked out from the neckline of the top. Poor Megan had to wear her tshirt inside out - but problem solved!!

Elmo - for an Elmo themed birthday party we are attending this weekend.

I've taken the day off from work (I try my hardest to never work on my birthday!!) and am headed over to mom's to use her long-arm quilting machine. I hope to have 2 completed quilts to show off soon!

Quality Family Time

Well tomorrow its back to work for Chris and I. We took off Friday, Monday and Tuesday to just spend some quality family time together. We started off the long weekend with a trip to College Station and Brenham. We went to the George Bush Presidential Library & Museum, Lonestar Quiltworks (GREAT quilt shop!!) and Blue Bell Creamery.

Thursday evening I decided to use some of my stash of A&M fabric to make Megan an A-line top for the trip.

Monday we let Megan go to day care while Chris and I spent some time tackling some long over-due chores around the house. I'm happy to say my quilt fabrics are now neatly organized and put away!! Monday was Texas Independence Day so I made Megan a top to wear to school.

Tuesday we went to the Livestock show. Megan had such a good time looking at all the animals! Although she wasn't too fond of the deer that kept trying to eat our clothes!
