And just so you know that I can actually complete projects, here are a few:
Quilt for Megan
I have been collecting cat fabrics for 10 or 15 years. I never knew what I would do with them, but I kept collecting them. I finally decided to make an I-Spy quilt for Megan. And while I had enough fabrics to make each of the 90 blocks from a different fabric, I decided to use 45 fabrics. Now Megan will be able to play a matching game with her quilt. Now I need to have it quilted. Luckly I have a "source" - my Mom!!
Here's a close-up of some of my favorite fabrics:
This was a class Mom and I took together. It was so much fun. The whole thing is pieced on a fusible-interfacing type product called Quilt on Point (or something like that). Once the cutting and fusing of fabric are done, the sewing goes SO FAST! This could be sewn in one sitting (not that I could find enough time to do it all in one sitting... ha ha ha). This too needs to be quilted.
This is another of the patterns I have from Parlor Pets (the Flowers in my previous post). I just love this pattern!

Chris's Duck Quilt
Quilt for a Gift
I LOVE Quilts and More magazine. This is the second bag I'll make from the Fall issue.
I just bought this pattern at the Houston Quilt Show. I love the Parlor Pets patterns! At first I thought I would put these flowers in Megan's room, but now I think I might start making them to use in my future sewing room.
Ok - I think that's enough for one day. Some day I'll share the unstarted kits, the patterns that still need fabric, the fabric that still needs patterns, and the ideas that have neither fabric nor patterns yet.

My 2008 New Year's Resolution was to finish all of my projects (both those started and those I'd like to do someday.) Then, and only then, I would splurge and buy an embroidery machine. OK - stop laughing - In my defense on New Year's Day I was still on post C-section painkillers.
So maybe if I post my outstanding projects I'll shame myself into finishing some.
In the coming posts I'll show you some of the projects...
